Patrick Carroll

Realizing the world didn’t need another mediocre bass player started Patrick on the path to becoming a Damn Good Editor. A lifetime later he has worked in Narrative, Animation, Documentary, and Factual Television. He edited the 2019 feature Letter From Masanjia, which was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award and for which Patrick was nominated for Best Documentary Editor by the Canadian Cinema Editors. His work on Rise & Shine Benedict Stone was also nominated by the CCE. As a director, Patrick won the A&E Short Film Award for his documentary, I'm That Fool and his most recent film, Run Stack Overflow had its world debut at AmDocs in Palm Springs. He is a former board member of the DOXA Film Festival and remains involved as a member of the screening committee. Away from editing Patrick struggles to swim better and plays bass in the Has Bin Ladens.
